On Thursday 29th May, we're excited to launch the debut iteration of 'Innovation in Sound' for dBs Institute Manchester at Altogether Otherwise.

Punam Ramchurn, Artist Development Manager at Factory International says:

"I'm absolutely delighted to present the Innovation In Sound exhibition, showcasing the work of your 3rd year students at dBs Institute Manchester," says Punam. "This free exhibition is a celebration of bold, boundary-pushing creativity - where your students explore the innovative and experimental edges of sound and music, challenging themselves to work outside of their comfort zones and bring truly original ideas to life."

Officially running from Thursday 29th May - Monday 9th June, Innovation in Sound is dBs Institute Manchester's inaugural end of year showcase, which sees final year undergraduate students exhibiting cutting-edge projects created for their 'Innovation in Sound' modules.

Introducing them to experimental techniques, genres and technologies, the module is a chance for our students to channel their composition and production skills into a project that really pushes them out of their comfort zones.

Every student interprets the brief differently and you can expect to experience innovative installations, immersive soundscapes and experimental displays.

This free launch exhibition is both a celebration of the achievements of our students and an exhibition showcasing how emerging technologies and music can come together to create unique experiences.

Come along every Tuesday evening to potter around in our community garden.
